Ten on Tuesday

1. How do you feel about April Fool’s Day?
When I was little, I was the target for the majority of my big brother's April Fools Pranks. I didn't really hate it though, most of the time they were kinda funny. Not much happens, now, though so I guess I'm impartial.
2. Do you like birds?
They're cool, I guess. Except seagulls. Seagulls should be banished from the Earth!
3. How often do you wear your hair in a ponytail?
All the flippin' time! If I go to work with it down, it will be up by the end of a shift. It's just in the awkward shortlong, longshort stage where nothing looks good.
4. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Nah. Infatuation perhaps but not love.
5. What is your favorite appetizer?
Avacado Egg Rolls from BJ's!
6. What is your favorite brand of heels?
Target brand? I wear heels maybe once a year.
7. Are you a picky eater?
I used to be, definitely. And I still kinda am. I'd like to think I'd try anything once but in reality, I'm not so sure I would. And there are a few ingredients that I hate so it automatically nixes some dishes, i.e. anything with ketchup or barbecue sauce. I also dislike almost all seafood, which is unfortunate for a Florida girl.
8. Is there a tv show you like that nobody ever talks about?
I don't have cable. And I think most of the shows I watch online are fairly mainstream. However, back in the day my family was hooked on Junkyard Wars. Anyone ever see that?
9. Do you prefer hot tea or cold tea?
Hot! I am both a quarter English and a non-Southerner. Before he passed, my Grandpa's catch phrase was "Can you put the kettle on?" Since coming to UF, I have met more Southern folks who have turned me on to sweet tea but i really only like it with lemonade mixed in. Prior to this, iced tea was unsweet, bitter, and utterly disgusting! Hot tea all the way! Plus hot tea has so many different varieties and flavors. Cold tea is just sweet or unsweet. Have you ever been to Teavana? It will rock your socks off if you like hot teas. However, I must say my all time favorite is an Earl Gray with milk and vanilla. My favorite baristas are those who can make a killer London Fog.
10. Gale or Peeta? (If you don’t know how to answer, read The Hunger Games.)
Gale. For sure! Though I think I'm in the minority by thinking so.

  1. #8- Nope, never heard of Junkyard Wars, although in college we occassionally went dumpster diving ;) Did you ever watch October Road? (on normal TV, I don't have cable either). It was the best show ever but got cancelled after the first season. I think maybe I was the only one that watched it.
